RC Creations, LLC will build a new seafood processing facility in Pender County, NC. The company will invest more than $25 million by the end of 2017.
King’s Hawaiian will triple the production capacity of its Oakwood, GA-based operations in two projects: an expansion of its current facility to double production and the addition of a new 120,000-sq.-ft. plant.
Shinmei Co., Ltd. will build its first US facility in West Sacramento, CA. The 28,000-sq.-ft. plant, which will produce rice buns, is expected to open in June 2014. The company is investing $10 million in this facility.
Clif Bar and Company will build a new, state-of-the-art bakery on 90 acres in Twin Falls, ID. The initial phase of the project is valued at about $90 million.
Portugal-based Frulact Group expects to open its first US facility in Rupert, ID. The fruit preparation and processing facility will occupy about 200,000 sq. ft. and is expected to be finished in the fourth quarter of 2014.
Great Lakes Cheese will open a new, $100 million, 330,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility in Manchester, TN.
TruFood Manufacturing will update its current 97,500-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility in Allegheny County, PA and expand into a second, neighboring 155,000-sq.-ft. facility. The chocolate confection and nutrition products company is expected to invest more than $12.5 million to support the expansion.
