Chobani received approval from the Twin Falls, ID government for a $3.5 million expansion to its Twin Falls plant. The 27,568-sq.-ft. expansion includes packaging and filling rooms. While the expansion isn’t expected to increase production, it should decrease downtime during cleaning.
Hormel Foods will add a line for bacon toppings at its Progressive Processing plant that opened in 2010. The two-phase project at the Dubuque, IA plant is expected to cost $36 million.
