Goya Foods is opening four new facilities. A new 350,000-sq.-ft. production and distribution facility in Houston includes a 130-acre farm. A 250,000-sq.-ft. facility in Los Angeles will serve the West Coast; a 151,000-sq.-ft. facility in Atlanta will serve Georgia and surrounding states. Goya’s new Jersey City headquarters and warehouse will occupy 638,000 sq. ft. A fully renovated, 240,000-sq.-ft. Secaucus, NJ facility includes a new rice packaging line.
Mars Chocolate North America opened the doors of its 500,000-sq.-ft. facility in Topeka, KS. The $270 million facility is expected to employ 200 people.
