In celebration of the tenth annual European Manufacturing Strategies Summit, event organizers announced the inaugural European Manufacturing Leadership Award.
Organizers said the industry award is designed to honor an individual who demonstrates “pioneering leadership in driving excellence, performance and competitiveness with European manufacturing.”
Nominations opened to the European manufacturing community today, and will be taken through Friday, July 11.
After the nominations are collected, the summit advisory board will compile a list of the top five candidates and allow members of the industry to vote for a winner. Voting is set to begin on Monday, July 14.
This year’s annual summit will be held Düsseldorf, Germany beginning Oct. 27. The chosen award winner will be invited to address summit attendees at the award dinner on Oct. 28.
