The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will hold a meeting of the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health’s Temporary Workers Group Wednesday in Washington D.C.
According to OSHA, the group will continue discussions surrounding workplace safety and health issues as they relate to temporary workers as well as develop recommendations for the committee’s consideration. OSHA said these recommendations will include developing best practice language for protecting workers as part of employers’ injury and illness prevention program.
The meeting will be from 11 a.m. - noon, in C-5515, Room C, at the US Department of Labor, 200 Constitution Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20210. The meeting is open to the public.
