The Multi-Conveyor stainless steel, pneumatic-controlled sanitary belt conveyor transports temperature-controlled raw meat product at volumes of 50,000+ lb./hr. The retractable idle end operates with a customer-supplied metal detector to reject product at the infeed; it operates in 2 positions to dispense into either of 2 hoppers positioned at the discharge. A checkweigher triggers the divert to move from 1 side or the other based on weight, while a manually adjustable belt scraper with a catch pan scrapes off excess product. The electrical components are mounted in a NEMA 4X slope-top enclosure that houses a through-door disconnect, Allen Bradley AC motor controller, safety relay, PLC, extend and retract actuators, and other control devices.
