Cheney Brothers and its design-build firm, A M King, broke ground on a large-scale expansion project for its Statesville, NC distribution center. The 165,000-sq.-ft. cold storage expansion will create 100 jobs and be completed by September 30.
Post Holdings’ Michael Foods plans to build an $85 million manufacturing facility in Norwalk, IA, with construction beginning in summer. The facility will house manufacturing for pre-cooked eggs and a distribution facility, and will create 100-150 jobs.
No Evil Foods will be relocating and expanding its operations to a 15,000-sq.-ft. space in Weaverville, NC. The company makes plant-based meats, and the facility will open by the end of this year.
RiceWrap Foods Corp., which provides rice for sushi, is investing nearly $10 million to locate a production facility in Granville County, NC, creating 305 new jobs.
Announced in 2016, Blue Buffalo Pet Products is planning to start production at its new Richmond, IN location. Part of the facility will open mid-year, producing dry dog and cat food.
