Developed for thermal ink jet print technologies in single-use cartridges, Matthews Marking Systems LS-6101 solvent-based ink has a 1- to 2-sec. dry time and offers substrate adhesion on semiporous materials, including coated stock, ceramics and wood. It dries in 2 to 5 sec. when applied on nonporous materials, such as PVC, PETE, nylon, steel and rubber. Utilizing a solvent-resistant bladder cartridge, the ink has a cartridge shelf life up to 7 months when stored at room temperature and up to 12 months in refrigerated storage. It is formulated to limit certain organic solvents to ensure compliance with international regulations.
