Aurora Packing Company Inc. recalled about 62,000 pounds of raw beef products for possible E. coli, discovered during traceback from random sample testing by the USDA.
The products were packaged on April 19 and sent nationwide for further distribution and processing, the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced. This spreadsheet lists of the products.
The packages have establishment number Est. 788 inside the USDA mark of inspection.
At the time of the recall announcement, there were no illness reports.
FSIS is concerned that some products may be in institutional facility freezers. The beef should be thrown away or returned.
