PMMI, the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, announced the release of its newest test in its mechatronics certificate program: Motors and Motor Controls.
PMMI, the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, and Koelnmesse GmbH, producer of nutrition-related trade fairs in Europe and Asia, announced the organizations have joined to create a new processing and packaging show in the U.S.
PMMI, the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, awarded nearly $100,000 last year through its foundation to advance the education of students with majors involving packaging, package design and package engineering at select colleges and technical schools across North America.
PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, said the US Department of Labor approved its mechatronics certificate tests as the foundation for mechatronics technician apprenticeships around the country.
In 2015, the beverage packaging industry in North America is expected to reach $26.3 billion in sales, with plastic bottles leading the way in popularity, according to the study Beverage Packaging—An Industry Assessment by PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies.
