Kraft Foods Group, Inc. shareholders voted Wednesday to approve the sale of the company to H.J. Heinz, creating one of the largest food companies in the world.

US President Barack Obama on Monday signed H.R. 2146 which renews the trade promotion authority (TPA) and H.R. 1295, the “Trade Preferences Extension Act of 2015,” into law.
The new rules allow manufacturers to qualify for a labeling exemption, if they can prove an ingredient is modified so it no longer presents a risk to consumers with allergies.
