Penny Clark, MS, RDN, CDN is a registered dietitian nutritionist consultant. She has extensive food and nutrition communications experience as well as expertise in sports nutrition, individual counseling and hunger/food insecurity. She is the founder of Connect Nutrition Group and works with clients to interpret nutrition science into consumer-friendly messages and smart food choices. She also writes for eatright.org and Food & Nutrition Magazine, and advises individual clients about how to eat a nutritious diet and live a healthy lifestyle.
She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the New York State Dietetic Association. She has held officer and committee positions for the Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition practice group and the Society of Nutrition Education & Behavior.
Clark is on the Steering Committee for West Side Campaign Against Hunger (WSCAH), a non- profit organization that works to alleviate hunger in New York City. She has a BS in Food & Nutrition from Cornell University and a MS in Nutrition Communications from Boston University.
