Doug Zietlow, P.E., is senior engineer at VAA, a multi-disciplinary engineering, planning, and design firm. Doug has 40-plus years of food industry experience in all aspects of process engineering, including process analysis, development, improvement and design. As a certified food scientist (CFS) and preventive controls qualified individual (PCQI), Doug is qualified for food projects with training in food microbiology, HACCP and food defense and experience in the application of 3A hygienic design and zoning. He has bachelor's degrees in chemistry and chemical engineering.
